Tegan & Josh | Central Coast Wedding at Home
Tegan & Josh | Central Coast Wedding at Home
Some couples plan a big wedding and stick with it no matter what. Tegan & Josh are not those people. When Covid tried to derail their Central Coast wedding, they didn’t hit pause — they just changed the plan. Smaller guest list, more intimate vibes, same huge emotions. Honestly? It suited them perfectly.
Turning Plan A into a Laid-Back Home Wedding
Instead of a traditional venue, these two chose somewhere even more meaningful: Josh’s parents’ property on the Central Coast. Tucked back from the road and surrounded by bushland, the garden became their ceremony space, styled beautifully with florals and details that transformed a simple yard into something seriously special.
The day started with a chilled morning of prep at Tegan’s mum’s place. Hair and makeup were taken care of by The Boys Studio, and the house was full of laughs, music and that pre-wedding buzz. Once Tegan stepped into her dress (paired perfectly with that epic terracotta suit from Rundle Tailoring), it all clicked - this was so them.
A Ceremony Full of Laughs, Happy Tears and Family
The ceremony took place in the backyard at Josh’s parents’ home, led by Monty King, who absolutely nailed the balance of heartfelt and hilarious. Guests settled into their seats just as Tegan arrived, walking down the aisle with her brother.
One of the standout moments? Tegan and Josh walking back up the aisle with their son, Ace, holding their hands and grinning from ear to ear. Pure joy. After the “I do’s” came hugs, photos with family and a chance for everyone to soak it all in.
Chasing Light Around the Central Coast
Once the formalities wrapped up, we jumped in the car — Tegan, Josh, their videographer from Hunter Valley Video and me — and headed out to a few Central Coast spots I’d scouted earlier. No rigid timeline, no rushed schedule, just a relaxed wander with a bottle of champagne and good tunes.
We chased the light, stopped wherever the scenery looked amazing, and let Tegan & Josh just be themselves. That easy, go-with-the-flow approach is exactly how I love to shoot: less posing, more genuine moments.

The Photos, the Vibe & a Quick Thank You
By the end of the day, we’d created a gallery that feels like them: warm, fun, stylish but never stiff. The kind of images that tell the story of a couple who rolled with the punches and built a day that felt true to who they are.
As Tegan put it:
“OMG Bryce the photos are insane!!! Thank you! You’re the friggen best.”
Couldn’t ask for better feedback.
