Chapel Mon Coeur Wedding | Styled Shoot
This styled wedding shoot at Chapel Mon Coeur was a creative collaboration designed to showcase one of the Hunter Valley’s most distinctive ceremony-only wedding venues.
Set within the grounds of Binet Family Wines in Lovedale, Chapel Mon Coeur offers couples something genuinely different — an open-air chapel framed by architectural detail, natural light, and surrounding vineyards. It’s a venue that feels intimate, romantic, and refreshingly non-traditional.
A First Impression That Sticks
Approaching Chapel Mon Coeur along Lovedale Road, it immediately stands out. The design is striking yet understated, blending clean structure with its natural surroundings in a way that feels intentional and modern.
For couples looking beyond the region’s more traditional ceremony spaces, Chapel Mon Coeur presents a unique alternative — one that focuses purely on the ceremony experience, while still feeling elevated and memorable.
A Creative Collaboration in the Hunter Valley
This shoot came together as a collaborative effort between a group of talented wedding suppliers, all working toward a shared creative vision. Originally, Port Stephens photographer Wild Wattle Photography was scheduled to capture the shoot, and I was grateful for the opportunity to step in and document the day when circumstances changed.
Styled shoots like this play an important role in exploring new ideas, showcasing venue potential, and giving couples a clearer sense of what’s possible within a space like Chapel Mon Coeur.
Wind, Light & Making It Work
From a photography perspective, the conditions on the day were close to perfect — clear skies, strong natural light, and vibrant colour throughout the landscape. The one challenge was the wind, which kept things unpredictable and required a fair bit of adaptability from everyone involved.
Despite a few toppled styling elements and wind-swept hair, the team worked together seamlessly to bring the concept to life. The result was a collection of images that captured the character, scale, and atmosphere of Chapel Mon Coeur beautifully — a reminder that flexibility and experience go a long way on any wedding day.
Styling, Fashion & Details
Every element of the shoot was thoughtfully chosen to complement the venue rather than compete with it. Styling and hire were provided by Vintage Peacock Hire & Events, creating a refined yet relaxed ceremony setup.
Bridal wear was supplied by Final Touch Bridal, while menswear came from Rundle Tailoring. Florals by Bold and Blooming added softness and movement, tying the entire look together.
Stationery details were provided by Tie The Knot Wedding Stationery, and hair and makeup were expertly handled by Envy Cosmetic Collective. A special mention also goes to models Ash and Mitch, whose natural connection brought the shoot to life.
Why Styled Shoots Matter for Ceremony Venues
For ceremony-focused venues like Chapel Mon Coeur, styled shoots help couples visualise how the space can be personalised. They highlight layout options, styling potential, and how the venue feels when brought to life — beyond empty-space imagery.
This shoot was designed to do exactly that: show Chapel Mon Coeur in a real, considered context, while still leaving room for couples to imagine their own ceremony within it.
A Ceremony Space Worth Discovering
Chapel Mon Coeur is a hidden gem in the Hunter Valley — ideal for couples who value meaningful ceremony moments, architectural interest, and a setting that feels intimate and intentional. It’s a venue that doesn’t need over-styling to make an impact.
I’m looking forward to photographing future weddings and collaborations here, and to seeing how different couples bring their own stories into this beautiful space.
