Danielle & Daniel | Our Secret Garden Wedding – Central Coast

Danielle and Daniel’s Our Secret Garden wedding was one of those days where everything just clicked — beautiful weather, thoughtful styling, and a relaxed energy that carried right through from prep to party.

The day began onsite at Laguna Niguel, a Southern California–inspired accommodation located on the same property as the ceremony and reception. Surrounded by open pastures and bushland, it made for an easy, calm start to the day — and an ideal setup for relaxed prep photos without needing to travel.

The girls kicked things off with a Moët champagne pop, matching linen shirts and retro sunnies. Risking hair and makeup for the shot is always a good sign — you can tell early on when a wedding is going to be a fun one.

Emotional Moments Before the Ceremony

Before heading to the ceremony, Danielle shared a quiet first look with her dad, presenting him with a gift and setting off a few happy tears. She also did a reveal with her bridesmaids on the balcony before hopping into the Cadillac to cruise next door.

Meanwhile, Daniel and the guys got ready at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort, bringing a coastal contrast to the morning. A few laughs, a bottle of Bundy, and a much more low-key vibe — the perfect balance to the champagne-fuelled energy happening across the property.

An Outdoor Ceremony at Our Secret Garden

Both the ceremony and reception took place at Our Secret Garden, set on a perfectly manicured lawn that honestly made the home gardener in me very happy.

Crisp white chairs, a statement arbour, lush greenery and soft florals created a clean, timeless setup. The aisle entrance? Small humans armed with bubble blowers — dangerously close to stealing the show.

The ceremony was led by Wed by Steph, with a strong focus on family and connection. Thoughtful details were everywhere — from peacock chairs for signing the papers to a towering champagne tower waiting nearby.

Styling, Champagne & Portraits

While guests mingled, we snuck a look at the reception setup. Styling by Newy Event Collective was spot on: white linen, dusty pinks, timber accents, gold cutlery and soft florals inside a white tipi. The grazing table deserved its own moment — and a fair bit of self-control.

After family photos, we took the couple and their bridal party for portraits onsite, choosing a forest-style location for something a little moodier. Smoke effects, cigars, champagne and the Caddy Chic Events Cadillac added personality and movement to the images — relaxed, fun, and very them.

Outfit Changes & Night Portraits

Danielle surprised Daniel with a second dress — flowy, fun and perfect for kicking off the reception. SCR Music handled the ceremony, canapés and reception, keeping the energy high all night alongside the caravan bar and live music setup.

Later in the evening, we snuck away again for some night portraits under the festoon lights near a smaller tipi. These quiet moments are always some of my favourites — a chance for couples to pause, breathe, and take it all in while the party continues behind them.

And yes — bonus points for the photos too.

Final Thoughts

Outdoor weddings like this are always a joy to photograph, especially when the styling, pacing and energy are this well balanced. Danielle and Daniel’s Our Secret Garden wedding felt relaxed, thoughtful and genuinely fun — exactly how it should be.

Kind Words

“We could not have asked for a more incredible photographer! Not only is Bryce insanely talented, he also makes you feel comfortable behind the camera. The photos from our engagement shoot and wedding day are amazing, and we could not be happier to have chosen Bryce to capture our perfect day.”
