Natural, Candid Hunter Valley Wedding Photography &
Newcastle Wedding Photographer
Hey, I’m Bryce — your photographer, hype guy & honorary wedding guest.
If you’re searching for Hunter Valley wedding photography or natural wedding photography across Newcastle, Sydney or anywhere across NSW, you’ve just found your guy. I’m not the photographer who lurks on the sidelines and stays a stranger. I take the time to get to know you, your favourites, and your families — so everyone feels comfortable, relaxed and genuinely themselves.
On the day, I blend right into the flow. I’ll chat with Nan, keep the vibes calm, guide photos when you need it, share laughs with your mates, and help the whole day feel natural instead of staged.
The best Hunter Valley wedding photography doesn’t come from stiff poses — it comes from connection.
The in-between moments. The real stuff. The way the day actually felt.

MEET BRYCE
Husband | Dad to Elsie | HUNTER VALLEY & NEWCASTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I live in the Hunter Valley with my wife Amy and our daughter Elsie - these two keep me grounded, grateful, and inspired.
I started photographing weddings back in 2012 after studying photography and learning from some of Australia’s most respected photographers. Those early years shaped how I approach every wedding now - relaxed, observant and focused on real connection.
Whether it’s a winery in the Hunter Valley, the coastline in Newcastle, or a city celebration in Sydney - I’m there to tell the story in a way that feels honest and meaningful.
My Style: Relaxed. Candid. Real.
No awkward posing
No forced smiles
No stiff or weird hand-on-hip situations
Just a calm, easy flow
You’ll get gentle guidance when you need it — and the freedom to simply be yourselves.
I help you build a timeline that keeps the day stress-free, and then I document everything as it unfolds:
The laughter.
The quiet pauses.
The chaos.
The emotion.
The you of it all.
Over the last 12+ years, I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings across the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Sydney and everywhere in between. Each one has taught me something different — how to read a room, how to work fast when the light is perfect, how to keep things calm when timelines wobble, and how to make people feel comfortable even if they “hate having their photo taken.”
I’m not the photographer who disappears into the corner and hopes for the best. I’m present, helpful and part of the day in a way that feels natural — chatting with your family, checking in with your vendors, keeping an eye on the weather and sunset, and making sure you actually get to enjoy your drinks and canapés instead of being whisked away for hours.
No matter the venue — a vineyard in Pokolbin, the cliffs at Merewether, a backyard in Maitland or a rooftop in Sydney — my approach stays the same: keep things relaxed, read the light, move with the energy of the day, and photograph the moments that matter most.
At the end of it all, you’ll relive your day through a gallery that feels warm, honest and true to who you are — with previews in 48 hours and your full gallery in 4 weeks.

Newcastle Wedding Photography
If you’re planning a Newcastle wedding, elopement or engagement shoot, you’re in the right place. I’m local to the region and know exactly how to work with Newcastle’s light, coastal weather patterns, tides, sunsets and iconic spots to make your photos look incredible — no matter the time of year.
Whether you’re dreaming of portraits along the Newcastle coastline, photos among the ocean baths, golden light at King Edward Park, or something more urban around the Honeysuckle precinct, Newcastle’s mix of modern architecture and rugged coastline gives us endless opportunities for natural, candid and relaxed images that feel like you.
From quiet sunrise sessions along Bar Beach to moody, windswept cliffs at Merewether, or intimate laneway moments in the city — we’ll create something seriously magic, without the awkward posing.
